Instrument Re-stringing

Re-stringing a musical instrument can be a hassle. Thankfully we can take care of it for you. When you bring your instrument in to Newport Music, we will have it re-strung for you in no time at all. Bring us your guitars, basses, banjos, mandolins, mandolas, ukuleles, violins, cellos or anything else you may have and we will make sure it gets properly re-strung with premium quality strings. We will have your instrument sounding like new.

Instrument Set-up

It's essential that a musical instrument is set-up properly in the first place, otherwise it just doesn't sound right. Newport Music offers a professional service for setting up your instruments. We use a highly skilled and experienced local craftsman to take care of your "baby". We make sure the sound, feel and action of your instrument is as it should be. We could all use a little tweaking and TLC occasionally, and your musical instrument is no different.

Music Lessons

We can arrange lessons for you whichever level you are at. Whether you are a complete beginner, are taking up your instrument again after some time away, or you just want to refine your existing skills, we can find the right tutor for you. Lessons in guitar, piano, violin, drums and percussion and more are given by approved teachers. Phil has a list of qualified tutors that he would personally recommend, and is happy to put you in touch with them.
